Hey there! In this tutorial I am going to show you how to rewig your Pullip doll. I'm not quite sure if this will work on Dal's, Byuls, Taeyangs, and Isuls, but it probably will. Just remember you can't rewig a doll this way if they have a rooted scalp. ;)
Materials:
A wig, a Pullip (w/ or w/out an unwanted wig), possibly a plastic knife, possibly a gluestick.
This is my doll Uncanricky. I already rewigged her with the light, straight blonde one before, but for the sake of the tutorial, I'll show you how :)
You can get wigs in a lot of different places. I got mine from shopoholican on etsy. Some things you can search to find wigs are:
pullip wigs; 1/3 doll wigs
1/3 is the size of the Pullips head. Wigs cost anything from $10-25 on average.
Okay, so with your finger or knife, GENTLY GENTLY GENTLY start to peel off the wig.
After it begins to peel it should be pretty easy to just take the wig off. Unless you are rechipping or something, don't unscrew or mess around with anything.
Here I put the old wig in a hairnet. This allows it to stay fairly intact and not get too messy. I suggest putting it in a bag as well and storing it safely. ;)
So this is the wig I am going to use. It is elastic-rimmed, so I don't need to glue it on. :) If yours isn't (most handmade ones are) then you'll have to glue it but I don't know exactly how to. xD
So now begin to wrap the wig around the head. It doesn't need to be perfect at first. ^^
Fit it on however you like for now.
Style it, pull it up....
And there you have it! Just brush it nicely and there is your brand-new, rewigged doll!
